I released my last video, my Glee Project audition, in mid-November. Since then I’ve given no updates on my life and pretty much avoided YouTube like it was that one annoying elderly teacher who tells me to do my homework every day. So instead of giving you excuses now, this post is about what’s to come.
This summer (with the help of my dad) I’m treating YouTube like a job. I’m clocking in 3 hours a day to work exclusively on creating content, no exceptions, no questions asked. I’ll put Voldemort in the Villain Medley like I promised, and although I can’t promise a video every week, I’m NEVER going to abandon my audience for months at a time again. I’m also using this summer to take piano lessons and buy gear to start working on an EP. Music is a big part of my life and I want to take a shot at writing something people don’t laugh at. :] Lastly I’ll be working on a short film. Something dramatic that takes place OUTSIDE MY BEDROOM (crazy, right?)
I’ve never really been good at creating realistic expectations for myself, so thank you for sticking by me even though I break my promises. I’ll see you this summer. <3
